My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and I have to say it was a good one.

I woke up to a present and a made to order breakfast.

A gift? For me?

 Me acting surprised about my birthday gift. That was ordered with my Amazon account and I keep getting emails about.

 After I was done eating breakfast and messing around with my gift, we just sort of hung out at home. I loved it. Never changed out of my pajamas.

We watched two Christmas movies (Elf, a yearly tradition and The Santa Clause 2, a movie I hope to never have to sit through again) and rearranged the living room furniture. After the living room was how we want it - which by the way, I love. It seems so big now! - we decorated for Christmas.

 It's a Charlie Brown Christmas!

I love our little tree. It is filled with ornaments that we have collected over the years and pulling them out each year we talk about the memories that come with them. Sure, I would love a giant tree covered in tinsel and blinking lights, but this tree suits us just fine. Besides, we are having a hard enough time keeping the dogs uninterested in this one. 

This morning Daisy fell asleep under the tree. She is fascinated by the ornaments that are 

hanging down and cautiously investigates each one, multiple times a day.

After the house was decorated we had a nice birthday dinner and some ice cream.

Probably the best birthday I can remember.
